CJM Bathrooms
A custom website for an Irish bathroom renovation business: migration from WordPress, a Cloudflare DNS cutover, existing customer reviews and consent-controlled analytics.
Challenge
CJM Bathrooms provides bathroom renovation services in Ireland. The project involved replacing an existing WordPress site while retaining the business content and customer reviews. The new site needed a design based on the client's mockup, a separate test environment and a controlled switch to the live domain. Analytics also needed to respect the visitor's cookie choice.
Solution
We built a custom theme on our platform and verified the new website on a restricted test address before the domain cutover. The domain's DNS zone was moved to Cloudflare, with the previous configuration available for rollback. Customer reviews supplied for the project were added to the new site. Google Analytics loading was connected to the analytics category of the cookie banner. The deployment checks on 28 August 2026 confirmed that the tag remained inactive before consent and loaded after acceptance. On 7 September 2026, the public homepage returned HTTP 200 with a canonical URL on the live domain and an indexable robots directive. These are technical delivery checks, not evidence of a ranking or conversion increase. A separate compliance review recorded issues for follow-up; it was not a certification of full legal compliance.
Process
- 01Build the custom theme from the client's mockup
- 02Verify the site on a restricted test address
- 03Move the supplied customer reviews to the new site
- 04Move DNS to Cloudflare and switch to the live domain with rollback prepared
- 05Connect analytics loading to the visitor's consent choice
- 06Check the public domain, canonical URL and indexing directives
