What you need to know about your online store
When do Shopify or WooCommerce make sense, and when not?
For stores under a few hundred products with no custom integrations, Shopify or WooCommerce are a good call and we build them that way. For stores with thousands of SKUs, marketplace integrations, Romanian tax compliance, and full control over monthly costs, custom Laravel/Next.js is clearly more efficient long term (no per-transaction Shopify fees, no WooCommerce plugin limitations).
How long does it take to build an online store?
A standard custom online store: a few weeks. With marketplace integrations + an existing ERP: several weeks. Migrating from an old store: extra time for product import + SEO 301 redirects.
How much does an online store cost?
An online store from €2.499 (with existing integrations: payments, couriers, invoicing, no SEO and no products). With SEO + product import, or fully custom Laravel/Next.js: €3.500-€8.000. An enterprise store with ERP integrations, multi-warehouse, and a B2B portal: €8.000+.
Can I integrate with eMAG Marketplace?
Yes, official eMAG Marketplace API integration (product, stock, order, and AWB sync) is included in the Business package. Validated in production on Modena and Senovy.
Can I do dropshipping?
Yes, we integrate with suppliers via XML/CSV/API. Orders placed on the site are automatically forwarded to the supplier, with tracking delivered directly from the supplier to the customer.
